An adaptation of Qin Guang’s Song Dynasty poem based on the Chinese folktale, “The Cowherd and Weaver Girl.” On the 7th day of the 7th month all the magpies of earth flock to form a bridge over the Milky Way river, allowing the star-crossed lovers— the mortal cowherd and the celestial weaver of the stars— to finally meet once more.
